Our client serves Local and State Government authorities, the Transport, Education, and Property sectors. About the role The role is responsible for managing an established group of customers within Victoria and surrounding areas. Our client is seeking a highly organized, self-motivated individual with experience in a similar technical environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong customer focus, business development mentality, and solution-oriented sales approach. Previous experience in the building and construction industry, landscape architecture, or related fields is preferred. Key Competencies Tendering and quotation experience. Ability to read technical drawings; exposure to project management or installation work is advantageous. Understanding of manufacturing and logistics is preferred. Exceptional workload management skills, working with multiple long term strategic projects. Proficiency in handling complex processes and diverse product configurations. Strong communication skills, both internally and externally. Attention to detail and adherence to procedures. Positive team player with a strong work ethic. About you: You will be an innovator with the capacity to craft this opportunity into your own. An autonomous operator with expertise in account management & strategy to support sales growth, orientating with key stakeholders in the business, a clear and confident approach and demonstrating a natural sales process. At least 3-5 years’ experience within B2B industrial products in Australia Account Management experience within a consumables hardware environment Demonstrated success in technical sales/consultative environment Tertiary qualification in Business or similar discipline (desired but not required) Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Experience to develop and execute a strategic plan based on an analysis of the market and data-driven decisions Motivated & driven to work autonomously from a remote location as required. Resilient and able to perform under pressure. Strong written and verbal communication skills appropriate for the audience Great communication skills to build rapport and trust with key stakeholders internally and externally.
