Flourish Australia has an exciting opportunity for an Administration Support Officer to join our Penrith team The position available is: Ongoing Part-time (68.4 hours per fortnight) Working between Monday and Friday Based at Penrith Level 3 on the Flourish Australia Enterprise Agreement (2018) equivalent to $36.00 - $38.60p/h 11% Super Tax-Free Benefits About the Opportunity In this role you will be responsible for a broad range of administrative support functions reporting to the Manager. You will demonstrate a high level of professionalism as the first point of contact to ensure a positive experience for those wishing to access and engage with Flourish Australia. To be considered for this role, you will have a minimum of 3 years experience in an Administrative role, preferably within the community services sector, demonstrating a proficient understanding of contemporary relevant office software, including Office365. You will be a professional and emotionally intelligent individual, with strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, as well as effective organisational skills, good problem solving skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times. You will also be able to demonstrate a practical and optimistic approach, possess the ability to work effectively within a team environment as well as independently, and have a good degree of computer literacy. The responsibilities of Administrative Support Officers include (but are not limited to): Providing a professional reception service as required Providing general administrative and clerical support Processing referrals and enquiries in the relevant databases Coordinating registration for staff at training/conferences and travel/accommodation arrangements as required Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders at all times Filing, word processing, and data entry Handling enquiries via telephone, electronic and paper mail, fax or visitors and directing them to the appropriate locations and managers Maintaining records as required For more information about what it means to be an Administration Support Officer with Flourish Australia, please review the Position Description. Selection Criteria Essential: Formal qualifications in office administration or relevant certificates/training in office administration or other relevant qualifications as recognised by Flourish Australia Experience in an office environment relevant to the level of the position (see position description above). Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and ability to fully utilise other appropriate information management systems.
