Job Description: Concentrix Australia is seeking a skilled Telephony Engineer to join our team of dedicated professionals. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Telephony Systems to enhance customer experiences and ensure the smooth operation of our telecommunications infrastructure. As a Telephony Engineer, you will collaborate with various teams, including IT Platform Engineers (Voice, Network, Server), and IT Operations, to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and drive projects aimed at improving voice operations and compliance. Responsibilities: Troubleshoot L1/L2/L3 telephony issues and collaborate across teams for swift resolution. Lead Voice Operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and spearheading Voice-related projects. Seamlessly communicate and collaborate across IT platforms and verticals to optimise telephony systems. Maintain expertise in VOIP Protocols, Voice Technology, IVR, and network/server administration. Set up and configure Mitel and Mediant SBCs, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Demonstrate proficiency in SBCs, SIP Technology, and Mitel Call Recording. Utilise project management skills to execute telephony-related projects effectively. Engage in client-facing activities, providing support and expertise as needed. Maintain flexibility in working hours, particularly for emergencies and critical projects. Requirements: Bachelor's/College Degree in IT, Electronics, Communications, or related field preferred. 5 years of experience in Telephony/VoIP, with expertise in Mitel and Mediant systems. Proficiency in VOIP Protocols, SIP Technology, and Mitel Call Recording. Experience with Verint Platform is advantageous. Experience with Geneyses, Avaya, Oracle, Verint and Vocalcom Understanding of Avaya v10 and ACME SBC Platform is a plus. Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for system design. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and navigate complex technical challenges.
