Project Engineer — Southport, Gold Coast

Role description: Arcadis are excited to be working on some of the largest projects across the country and we are growing our teams rapidly We are now seeking both a Civil and Structural Construction Project Engineer to join our team in Gold Coast. Role accountabilities: The overall role of the team is that of Contract Administrator and Construction Verifier; Managing selected teams for projects to meet budget, time-frame and quality targets, while exceeding client expectations; Providing technical advice to project team members whilst building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders; Working in collaboration with other teams and disciplines to ensure the integrity and quality of the overall design during construction; Managing subcontractors, quality assurance and client feedback and ensure effective communication of any changes/modifications; and Meeting project deadlines and ensuring that commitments and expectations are met. Qualifications & Experience: First and foremost, you share our passion for improving the quality of life and want to be part of city-shaping projects that change the way we move around our capital. You are a tertiary qualified engineer and RPEQ with extensive experience in bridge and/or civil construction and come to us with: Expertise in ensuring high-quality construction of bridges and civil infrastructure related concepts and designs whilst working closely with highways and heavy and light rail management teams; Ability to lead, manage, mentor and develop medium scale, diverse project teams; Sound understanding of construction management and experience in design review and verification; Understanding of the use of structural analysis and design software; Chartered status and experience with TMR will be highly regarded.
