20 Months Fixed Term Contract What you'll do: The Data Engineer will be responsible to Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality and integrity, ensuring production data is always accurate, complete and available for downstream products, key stakeholders and business processes. The Data Engineer will be accountable for : Supporting the design, development, testing and implementation of data preparation and ingestion solutions to meet business, technical and user requirements. Building modern data pipelines that meet functional/non-functional business requirements and industry standards. Identifying design, and implement process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability What experience you need. 2 years' experience in software development/data analysis/data management 1 years' experience to drive technical design of project initiatives independently Proficiency in Java programming would be a big plus, OR 1 years' experience in using any object-oriented programming language to build data processing pipeline Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good presentation skills and excellent problem solving skills High attention to details and Strong project management and organizational skills Experience in supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment Self-driven and enthusiastic in discovering new ideas and solutions A successful history of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large disconnected datasets. Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets. Experience in performing root cause analysis on data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
