Account & Relationship Management (Sales) The National Sales Manager (NSM) for the Consumer Electronics manages the performance, relationship and daily dealings with major Optus' non branded partners such as Harvey Norman, Officeworks, Samsung and Apple. Responsible for the implementation of strategies to enhance the growth and revenue within these channels, whilst maintaining a working relationship with key people at both the customer and internally. The NSM will also need to understand the role of the Operations Support and be able to take ownership of these tasks when required. It will be expected that the NSM will be able to drive category management principles to ensure win/win outcomes for both the retailer and Optus. This will require strong understanding of category growth drivers by utilising data. The NSM will also manage and deliver the monthly briefing process with a dedicated field team. A strong understanding and focus on digital growth will be key to success in these channels. This position will work closely with multiple Optus teams namely, SMB, Fraud, Risk & Compliance, Product and Brand Marketing in all areas of channel management to drive the best possible opportunity for Optus across multiple products. The position also requires partnering with handset vendors to drive mutual outcomes in both their branded and non-branded distribution. Supported by a field team, sales manager and sales support the role will also draw on experience in key stakeholder management at store ownership and management level, implementing marketing, training and sales enablement programmes to drive growth form each individual site. To be successful in this role you will have; Account Management experience with Telecommunications, Handset Vendors or Electrical Retailers Strong MS Office and analytical skills Excellent communication skills, confidence in communicating at all levels Project and P&L management Ability to significantly influence and execute in partnership with 3rd party organisations Demonstrated use of initiative, planning, decision making and problem solving skills At Optus, we are strengthened by others and that means valuing diversity and saying ‘yes' to embracing individual differences.
