Due to company growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic, well presented and self-motivated individual to learn and grow within an Administration Assistant role. This is an opportunity to gain on-job training and skills while completing a nationally-recognised qualification (Certificate III in Business). This position would suit a recent school leaver looking to forge a career in Business Administration. In this varied role, you will be working closely with our close-knit administration team focusing on accounts, customer service, retail operations and general administration. Responsibilities will include: Answering phones General data entry, including entering orders General upkeep of our office Maintaining office supplies and office equipment Copying, scanning and filing of documents Assisting the existing team members with daily administrative requirements and functions Accounting functions such as entering invoices Occasional warehouse assistance when required Adhoc errands as directed by management The successful candidate will possess: Computer literacy (PC/Windows based) The ability to multitask Strong customer service and communication skills Confident telephone manner Reliability and maturity A willingness to learn and be a team player A genuine desire to forge a career in administration and accounts Flexible and adaptable nature Drivers licence and own reliable transport (desirable) This is a full time position, Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm, located at our modern Somersby office.
