NDIS Finance Administrator — Coburg, Moreland Area

We’re excited that we are looking to expand our team and we’re on the hunt for a NDIS Finance Assistant (Accounts Assistant) to join our Finance Team. Requirements The Role You'll be responsible for performing a range of administrative and financial functions that are required for a disability service provider, this includes preparing and processing NDIS invoices, assisting with payroll, book-keeping, reconciling transactions, preparing financial reports, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders, and assisting in the overall operations of our organisation. What you’ll be doing: Manage day-to-day administration tasks with a focus on efficiency and accuracy. Assist with participant and team member enquiries. Claiming and invoicing for NDIS services Respond to NDIS and accounts enquiries Develop quotes, service agreements and schedules of support Assist with the processing of the fortnightly payroll Assist with accounts receivable, payable and bank statement reconciliation, as required Ensure services are provided so as to adhere to relevant industry legislation and standards Identify the opportunities to increase the budget of the participant. Managing documentation, record-keeping, and data entry. What you’ll bring: Great attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of Payroll requirements in accordance with the SCHADS award Act in accordance with the NDIS Code of Conduct Extensive knowledge of NDIS Invoicing Ability to work in a very busy environment and to work both independently and as part of a team. Adaptable to changing circumstances and being able to prioritise work. What we would like you to have: Authorised to work in Victoria. An understanding of the NDIS, disability, and community services sector Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An understanding of rostering and SCHADS Award Experience in the NDIS billing processes.
