1 month Duration with Possibility of Extension Perth Homeport 2 Weeks On, 1 Week Off Roster About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team for an immediate assignment with potential for extension. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality control and adherence to specifications throughout the construction process. You will collaborate closely with Supervisors, manage procurement activities, and liaise with client representatives to ensure project objectives are met efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of ongoing projects. Key Responsibilities will include: Regularly inspecting works during construction, not just at pre-pour inspection, to ensure quality control and construction as per drawings and specifications, working closely with Supervisors to achieve project objectives Monitor procurement of materials, cast ins and consumables for portion of project scope, to ensure works can proceed as per schedule Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries Review, create, issue, and follow up all request for information (RFIâs) and technical queries (TQâs). Ensuring register is up to date Ensuring all hold points requirements are concluded before works proceed, this includes ensuring ITRâs are signed off at hold points by Principal representative prior to pour commencement Present neat documentation, correspondence and records as requested Lead, manage and provide guidance to Graduate Engineer Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed Use engineering judgement and know limits of knowledge, consulting colleagues when required Participate in daily pre-starts and toolbox meetings Skills & Experience Required: Degree Qualified RIO Tinto Inducted would be an advantaged Manual C Class Driverâs Licence About WorkPac WorkPac is Australiaâs largest privately owned workforce services business with over 1.3 million registered candidates.
