The role will have the opportunity to be assigned across various units or wards in the facility. Under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal outcomes for patients and clients and carers of the service through the promotion of best practice including the appropriate escalation of care. Additionally, your day-to-day duties will include providing safe patient care as directed by the registered Nurse or Midwife according to the nursing care plan and under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Midwife within the scope of practice of the Enrolled Nurse. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.   Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa. Selection Criteria to be Addressed: Current registration to practice as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Experience and demonstrated skill in Acute nursing Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person centred care Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
