About the role Based at our Port Pirie depot, we are seeking experienced Truck Drivers / Heavy Vehicle Drivers for full time work performing essential services throughout the region. As the Side lift Driver you will be responsible for: Providing municipal bin collection services Side lift collection vehicle for residential household waste Performing loading and unloading duties of waste Delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposals facilities Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction Maintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and out About you To be successful in the role, you will have the following: Must be available for an early morning start and public holiday shifts An unrestricted HR Licence with a clean driving record Zero Harm Safety mindset Good attitude, reliable and willing to learn Excellent customer service ethic Experience operating a side lift/left hand drive vehicle (desirable) Willing to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test Waste industry experience is not essential Cleanaway’s “Zero Harm” Safety culture means that we care about the safety of people on our sites: we have a zero tolerance to drugs and alcohol.
