Minara Resources has an opportunity for a site-based IT Desktop Administrator to play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless and secure IT operations where your expertise will make a real difference. The Role The successful person will have impeccable attention to detail and be responsible for providing first and second level support and be the primary point of contact within the Murrin Murrin site IT team. You will be responsible for: First and second level IT support, encompassing IT hardware and software support to both team members, computer users onsite, those based in Perth Head office and remote users (support vendors, employees working from home etc.) Daily management and co-ordination of the IT support ticketing system and the Helpdesk support mailboxes Installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting and maintaining user accounts, desktops, applications and the company's fleet of mobile devices Ensuring highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability through immediate resolution or escalation of reported IT issues Documenting processes and known issues/solutions for future reference by the team Overseeing the managed print contract to ensure high availability of printer's onsite and in the Perth Head office On-going management and development of the company's Intranet (SharePoint) Management of the Murrin Murrin digital plant-based 2-Way radio system Providing backup support for system engineers, IT supervisor and IT Superintendent when required About You This role would suit a highly organized and proactive Desktop Administrator who ensures the smooth operation, security, and optimisation of desktop systems, supporting the productivity of the entire organization. You will also have: A Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or working towards same An ability to analyse, troubleshoot and resolve first and second level IT issues Experience in the use and support of Microsoft operating systems and applications Experience with managing and supporting MS Windows Servers and Active Directory Experience with managing and administering MS Exchange Servers Experience administering and supporting VMware Virtual Desktop Infrastructure A willingness to learn and up-skill to assist with the on-going demands of the position as well as changes to applications, technologies etc. An ability to work independently and within a team environment What We Offer We offer a diverse range of opportunities across our multi-pit mining operations through to our complex and technically challenging hydrometallurgical process plant.
