12 months contract role - government agency - DevSecOps Security EngineerYour new company This government agency is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to join their established cyber security team in a 12-month contract role. You will have the opportunity of working at a government agency located in Sydney. Your new role As a DevSecOps Security Engineer, your role involves creating and deploying robust network solutions to mitigate cyber and technology risks within the organization. Additionally, you'll offer expert advice, guidance, and assurance for secure development projects, whether they are on-premises or in the cloud. What you'll need to succeed As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will be required to possess the following skills and experience: Hands-on experience with cloud technologies across various environments. Proven ability to drive a shift-left approach to security and work effectively in DevSecOps environments. Expertise in architecting and implementing DevSecOps pipelines, including strategies for migrating legacy software products. Proficient in Secure Development Lifecycle Principles, with demonstrated expertise in software security frameworks, requirements, and threat analysis, including OWASP tools and strategies. Excellent communication skills and experience in stakeholder management.
