About the role: The Road Policing Projects Division provides a project management service to Road Policing Command through the centralised and strategic coordination and management of the Command's State Government funded projects. The Division is currently seeking a Project Administrator for the In Car Video team of the Mobile Automatic Number Plate Recognition Unit. The Project Administrator will support the use of In Car Video Systems by Victoria Police members in rural locations across Victoria Police, by providing technical assistance and training. The role is diverse, requiring flexibility and is likely to undertake a wide variety of work across the Mobile Automatic Number Plate Recognition Unit. Your duties will include: Develop and maintain processes, systems and accurate records, review and/or produce relevant management reports. Determine priorities, meet strict deadlines, and effectively balance competing demands with minimal supervision, working independently or as a member of a team. Provide high level technical support to police members with the use of In Car Video hardware, software, and associated infrastructure. Manage and maintain a proper and efficient system for the sharing of In Car Video evidence. Facilitate requests for the provision of In Car Video evidence. Manage IT and ICV Asset register and hardware, ensuring readily available ICV stock, and keeping register up to date. Maintain records pertaining to requests received, requests actioned, and results provided to requestors. Developing positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Attending to enquiries from a range of stakeholders and customers. Other duties as required to support the Road Policing Projects Division. As the successful applicant, you will have: A proven history of producing high quality work. An ability to work in a fast-paced technical and administrative environment. An ability to work with limited supervision and/or as a member of a team. Demonstrated initiative, problem solving and proactive work practices Excellent document management skills and proven capacity to coordinate tasks, determine priorities, monitor workflows, and effectively operate as a member of a team in a pressured environment. Willingness to learn new systems and programs, as well as identify new and innovative processes and procedures. Well-developed analytical and conceptual skills including the ability to interrogate data, identify trends, and produce management reports. Possess a current Victorian Driver's Licence and hold or qualify for a Victoria Police driver authority within three months if successful. Requirements and relevant information: One (1) x full-time ongoing position available. Your usual place of work is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands, however you may be required to work at other locations as required including occasional intra-state and overnight accommodation.
