The National Gallery uses a Managed Payroll service contract with Aurion and this is an opportunity to work in a role to implement additional modules into the National Gallery Aurion environment. This role will also work to improve and streamline HR reporting to Council and the Senior Management Group. The National Gallery HR team is dedicated to ensuring a collaborative, fun and supportive culture at work. As a small team we have a focus on cross skilling and development. This role reports to the Head of HR and is available for a twelve-month opportunity which may become permanent. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate, or have the ability to develop the following: • Detailed understanding of the Aurion system including onboarding, recruitment and payroll modules • Project management skills to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Aurion module implementation • Great attention to detail • Be able to listen, understand and adapt to audiences and their changing requirements • A love of continuous improvement • Experience in managing work projects to achieve results • A positive and balanced approach to work The key duties of the position include You will be a specialist with experience working in Aurion and have a good understanding of public service legislation with the following demonstrated capability: • Successfully manage and implement modules in Aurion (Recruitment, Onboarding). This includes stakeholder management to understand user requirements, engaging with Aurion consultants on configuration requirements, system testing to identify defects, developing communication and implementation plans and user training. • Understanding of Aurion payroll activities and processes to enable a seamless relationship between Onboarding, Recruitment and Payroll functions in Aurion. • Lead, develop and maintain people metric reporting and analytics. This includes using reporting tools to create automated and customised HR reports, using visualisation tools to create tailored reports for stakeholders, be proficient in creating and amending reports within Aurion and analysing HR data to identify workforce trends and risks. • Exceptional relationship building skills and an ability to collaborate and work with various stakeholders at all levels. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • An enthusiasm for working in a small and dynamic team. THE KEY DUTIES OF THE POSITION - WHAT WILL YOU DO? In accordance with the Executive Level 1 work level standards, you will: • Manage the ongoing system administration of the Aurion Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS) in a Managed Payroll Services contract arrangement. • Test and implement changes including upgrades, system enhancements and new modules. • Provide a range of legislative, regulatory and ad hoc reporting requirements. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems, information and projects. • Maintain business-focused collaboration and agility in approaches in how Aurion is maintained and supported. • Develop and maintain documentation including system administration manuals and training material.
