HC Drivers - Parkinson & Redbank Groceries About Role Toll People have a great opportunity for you to work with Groceries where you will be responsible for delivering ambient and re-fridge (refrigerated) products in both Queensland Metro and regional areas. The role involves working from either Parkinson or Redbank Depots on both Am & PM Shift, and experience with shunting is preferred. Drivers in this role are expected to work Monday to Friday with the possibility of weekend overtime shifts. The pay rate is $38.10 per hour for AM Shift and $43.44 p/h for PM Shift , and overtime pay is provided. Key Responsibilities: You will have extensive local knowledge Excellent customer service skills are required You will be responsible for ensuring the correct temperatures are set for re-fridge trailers Completion of all runsheets and pre-start checks at the beginning of each shift is mandatory Skills & Experience: A current HC driver's license with at least 1 year of experience is a must Shunt experience is preferred but not essential Experience in re-fridge deliveries and knowledge of temperature control are important Extensive experience in commercial truck driving is required Knowledge of load restraints is necessary Co-operating with your employer to ensure safe work procedures are adhered to is essential You should immediately report any unsafe working conditions, hazards, equipment, or practices to your manager/supervisor and make suggestions for improvements Report all injuries, illnesses, incidents, and near misses, regardless of their severity, to your manager/supervisor Benefits: The role offers potential ongoing casual employment.
