Leading a team of two coordinators and acting as the conduit between our retail stores and head office, be responsible for all aspects of retail operations, from financial management, report generation and budgeting, implementing, improving and refining policy and procedure, managing retail incentives, coordinating new store openings and closures, managing the retail calendar. This is a full time role permanently based out of our Burnley office. Key Responsibilities Achieve financial and operational management control by managing retail sales and expense budgets, developing and implementing commercially viable initiatives, controlling policies and procedures, communicating effectively to store and enhancing business processes Support the creation of the annual sales and wage budgets for all retail locations, ensuring that wages align to WHL expectations and that real estate plans are accurately reflected Support re-forecasting sales and wages monthly, in line with performance Update and distribute all retail store related reporting Review results and identify operational improvements to achieve KPI goals’ Ensure all retail expenses are delivered to agreed budget and develop forecasting controls in conjunction with finance to deliver agreed expense spend Consistently review, maintain and control the retail store incentive program thus ensuring continued motivation of store teams Overseeing all store communication including store mail, and biweekly store communication emails The Ideal Candidate has A background within retail operations having a solid, commercial understanding of the drivers across the brand and business Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel Highly commercial and numerical with the ability to communicate numbers and findings in a clear and concise way to relevant stakeholders Organised, with the ability to multi task across multiple projects Why work for us ?
