WHS Advisor Position : WHS Advisor Location : Sydney ( Multiple Sites) Are you a dedicated safety professional with a passion for creating a culture of safety? An exciting opportunity currently exists for an experienced WHS Advisor to join a passionate and effective team. Your Role : As a WHS Advisor, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and maintaining effective health and safety programs. Collaborating closely with employees and management on all levels, you will be promoting a proactive safety culture, implementing WHS management systems, and overseeing onsite injury management and return to work programs for employees. Key Responsibilities : Manage the inhouse WHS Management System to oversee health and safety onsite, including compliance education and training. Officiate workplace inspections identifying potential hazards and addressing any safety concerns. Lead investigations for workplace incidents, provide knowledgeable recommendations for preventive measures. Maintain an accurate and detailed incident register and provide regular reports with detailed analysis for senior management. Undertake action required for the management of an injured worker. Managing WHS meetings and facilitate safety consultations. Maintaining incident reports, safety records, injury management, return to work, risk assessments, hazard register, and safety training documentation. About You : This position forms an integral part of the operational team, we need an individual who can drive safety, someone experienced in WHS regulations, has great communication and is committed to improvement. This role suits an organized self-starter who is confident and capable in all aspects of safety. Requirements : Certification in WHS (Cert IV in Work Health and Safety). In-depth knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations, and industry best practices. Demonstrated ability to influence change in behaviour and decision making. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail. Stand out communication and cross functional skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
