As the Business Intelligence Solution Designer, your primary role is to understand customer needs & design the implementation of high quality Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence initiatives. You will guide the development team with designs, based on your expert understanding of user requirements and CSC's data landscape, that deliver effective and valuable solutions to our internal customers. You bring your drive, a consultative communication approach and innovation to this position, and your excellent communication skills, in particular an ability to translate and communicate complex issues in simple terms, such that they can be understood and acted upon, will be the key to your success. Desired Skills and Experience What you'll need to excel Proven experience in designing solutions for data warehousing and business intelligence (or other data products) Possess solid knowledge and experience in Data Modelling techniques: especially Dimensional and Data Vault Strong experience in discovery, analysis, scoping and documentation of data requirements Solid experience in representing and communicating data requirements via data models and data flow diagrams with tools such as Oracle SQL Data Modeller and Microsoft Visio Experience with data integration (principles, techniques and tooling) from multiple, disparate sources into a trusted single unified view for data warehousing, reporting & analytics Ability to translate complex IT concepts into terms that business stakeholders can understand.
