About North East Link The Spark Consortium has been selected to deliver the Central Package of the North East Link Project - Victoria's biggest road project. The Spark Consortium's Design and Construction Contractor - which comprises Webuild, CPB Contractors, GS Engineering and Construction and China Construction Oceania - will deliver the twin three-lane tunnels and key interchanges for the project. The Central Package will be delivered as a Public Private Partnership and provides three-lane twin tunnels that will close the missing link in Melbourne's freeway network from the M80 Ring Road to an upgraded Eastern Freeway, reducing journey times and diverting heavy vehicles away from local roads. Up to 135,000 vehicles will use North East Link every day, reducing congestion in the north-east while maintaining local roads. About the Opportunity Spark are actively seeking to recruit experienced Plant Administrators to join the team on this iconic North East Link project, on our Thomastown and Watsonia sites. The role will provide administrative support to the plant team, which may include managing the day-to-day activities of team, inclusive of diary management/scheduling, communications, reporting, records management, procurement, accounts/invoices, travelling & logistics and purchasing. File management & Document Control. Key Responsibilities Registering and overseeing incoming and outgoing correspondence and documentation Preparing relevant documentation including assisting with the formatting/typing and record keeping Maintain an effective filing/archiving system to ensure records and documents are suitably protected from damage and are readily available Continuously seeking ways to improve the provision of services and processes Implementing and support change strategies Provide support to ensure all owned plant & equipment is maintained to comply with project and Australian Safety Standards. Plan and coordinate a Plant Maintenance planning system to improve plant reliability Maintain the maintenance program using a database by promptly generating & issuing work orders to Mechanical or Electrical Supervisors for action. Order and maintain onsite stock of various stationary required Required qualifications and experience Relevant word processing and secretarial qualifications and/or training Ideal but not compulsory minimum 5 years experience in Administration.
