THE OPPORTUNITY Salary: $82.01 - $88.60 p/h 11% superLocation: Chadstone & Moorabbin campus.WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.Position Status: CasualThe Faculty Health Science, Community and Social Studies provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment with strong industry links. The department is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to effectively design and teach theoretical and practical sessions, to students in undertaking Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing & Disability), Certificate IV in Disability Support and Certificate IV in Community Services (Disability).ABOUT YOUCurrent industry knowledge directly relevant to the training and assessment being delivered, with a particular emphasis on current technology and industry practice.Demonstrated experience in innovative course design and development in the context of flexible learning environments.Ability to effectively convey skills appropriate to a diverse student population through the selection and use of a wide range of teaching and assessment strategies.Highly developed interpersonal skills. written and verbal communications skills.Relevant industry qualification relating to specialist/inclusive education, disability, psychology or social work.Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116); or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502 or equivalent units.ABOUT USHolmesglen is a leading education provider, valued by local and international learners, industry and the community.
