A Day in the Life Your natural ability to connect and communicate and have a consultative approach to selling and partnering with both internal and external stakeholders will be key to your success as an Inside Sales Product Specialist Reporting into the Inside Sales Manager and based in Medtronic's Head Office in Macquarie Park, Sydney, this is a role which will empower you to drive your sales career in an exciting direction Responsibilities Include Drive sales by developing, identifying, and securing all relevant direct sales opportunities Serve as Inside Sales Product Specialist for pre-defined territory locations to achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas and all the relevant goals and metrics. Generate market interest and close sales by executing product and segment marketing activities such as product demonstrations, focus areas or campaigns Actively solicit all Medtronic product opportunities, referring leads as appropriate Build relationships and trust with customers, be a key part of their buying decisions Understand customer buying patterns and use it to schedule calls Contribute to the fiscal revenue goal and propose/define tactical activities Must Have: Minimum 2 years proven experience in field sales/inside sales, clinical/technical, or marketing role within the medical devices or pharmaceutical industry A willingness to make multiple outbound sales phone calls on a daily basis Computer proficiency including MS Office suite of software Our Offer: In our 5th Tenet of our Mission, we recognize the personal worth of employees by providing an employment framework that allows personal satisfaction in work accomplished, security, advancement opportunity, and means to share in the company's success.
