We are hiring for a Design Development Manager in Melbourne. This opportunity is an influential role, building and fostering our close connections to thought leaders within the Melbourne architectural, kitchen/interior design, and builder community. It is a trusted advisory role, collaborating and consulting on live projects to help specify the best kitchen design outcomes for the end user and our commercial partners. This is where you come in You'll be responsible for networking and building relationships with key players within the design community. You will often be the first impression and face of our brand to potential new business partners, so being able to confidently articulate & role model our values and design philosophy, and talk technical when required, is a must. Your input into projects and appliance selection will continue to build awareness, reappraisal and credibility in our brand, and the unparalleled design freedom and beauty of choice that we offer. Your tenacity, empathy and lateral thinking coupled with your exceptional commitment to service will see you successfully support and provide commercially beneficial solutions at every step of the process. So who are you? You'll be passionate about design, ideally have strong networks with Melbourne kitchen/interior designers and architects, and proven experience at successfully developing strategic partnerships both internally and externally to deliver quality results. You may have either Marketing, Sales or Interior Design experience with other premium & luxury brands, but what's important is that you are a team player, a great communicator who has exceptional interpersonal skills and is a confident presenter in face-to-face settings with small to medium size audiences. You'll have an appetite for learning, an eye for detail & strong commercial acumen. You take action fast and have no issue courageously and respectfully challenging when needed. You are an industry expert with the experience in executing integrated marketing and sales strategies, to attract, engage and convert clients. We care that you have the enthusiasm, drive and a genuine thirst for success, as well as an awareness and understanding of how brand building and business to business collaborations drive commercial success in the luxury property sector.
