With proven experience and expertise we manage a broad range of contracts covering both government and private entities across the state. We are seeking a talented highly motivated contract administrator who has a sound knowledge and expertise in the commercial property maintenance industry. As the contract administrator you’ll be playing a leading role in the operational delivery of the contracts. The role requires the skills to identify potential risks, problems and to ensure the variations and all contractual activities are accurately recorded and reported to the director and to the broader operational team. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the following task and duties. Draft and revise contracts, which may include preparing documents for tenders, negotiation of legal agreements with clients and suppliers. Manage tenders including preparation, specification, data gathering and estimation ensuring the contestability for the contracts. Establish contract terms and conditions including service levels, fees, and financial obligations. Draft, negotiate, and establish contract terms and conditions including performance levels, standards, quality, legal and financial obligations that are legally binding between the organization and clients. Engage with clients, internal managers, and subcontractors to develop, assess, and negotiate on variations for maintenance projects, cleaning contracts and other facility maintenance contracts. Liaise with internal operational representatives, external legal practitioners, and various external parties to ensure that deadlines and requirements of the contracts are met. Effectively review and manage contract paperwork and documentation adopting to the changing needs of the business and operations. Timely engage with client organizations, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain feedback and report to the management to avoid disputes and contract breaches. Periodically assess the operational performance and compliance adherence of staff, maintenance teams and subcontractors against the contractual policies, procedures, health and safety and legal standards. Plan, schedule and perform inspections and evaluations in contracted facilities to assess the performance of team members and sub-contractors and report progress to support decision making processes. Undertake contract analysis and provide advice to the business and conduct research on topics relevant to industry changes and business needs. Monitor and advise the management on compliance with contractual obligations including revisions, renewals, and updates of ongoing contracts. Source and manage service level agreements and contracts with multiple suppliers, external parties and organizations supporting the changing operational needs of the organization. Utilize high level of service management, negotiation, and communication skills to maintain effective contract engagement and build relationships and networks supporting continuous organizational growth. About you Masters degree in Project Management A minimum of four (4) years’ experience in the commercial property maintenance sector Experience in administrating and managing contracts, variations, and claims. High-level organisation skills including well-developed priority-setting skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Ability to maintain effective and collaborative relationships across diverse stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to exercise independent judgement and problem-solving with the ability to resolve and address issues as they arise.
