CASUAL $40.13 Gross per hour includes Industry Allowance Our Values| Respect | Integrity | Teamwork | Service Excellence |Innovation The Portland Arts Centre presents live events covering music, comedy, drama, circus and more. These events include our professional touring program of approximately 25 shows each year, as well as commercial and community hires. We are looking for skilled and enthusiastic casual staff to add to our tech team to support these events, and events in other Glenelg Shire venues across the region. As these events occur on an irregular basis, the role is best suited to people looking to for additional sessional work in arts and entertainment. What you need to Thrive Energy and enthusiasm for live events is essential, along with excellent communication skills and a collaborative work style. Our tech team are required to be multi-skilled, working across all areas of live production – Sound, Lighting, Audio Visual / IT, and Rigging / Stage Mech / Carpentry. Some knowledge and experience in one or more of these disciplines is required to begin, and training and development opportunities will be provided to the successful applicants where needed.
