We are currently seeking qualified and passionate Community Transport Driver to support our Community Transport Team at WCS in providing a quality transport service in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards to assist people who are ageing and/or have a disability to access and remain active in the community. Woden Community Service (WCS) is a for-purpose organisation that has been providing community-based services for over 50 years. We deliver services across the ACT covering children, families, young people and seniors including disability, housing and mental health services. Our Offer Casual appointment Hourly rate of $40.26 (inclusive of 25% casual loading) plus 11% Superannuation Based in Woden and travel within Canberra Salary packaging (up to $15,899 per year) plus meal and entertainment cards National EAP Service Vibrant and fun-loving team Experience & Qualifications Demonstrated ability to provide sensitive and appropriate support to people who are ageing and/or have a disability. Good interpersonal skills to communicate clearly with service users. Current ACT drivers licence applicable to both manual and automatic transmissions and an exemplary driving record. Computer literate in a “windows” environment. Demonstrated understanding of professional boundaries, privacy and confidentiality. Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one.
