Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2024 school year, up to the end of Term 1, 2025. Suitable applicants will ideally be able to work in a team and collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum and reflect on evidence to inform ongoing practice. This includes reflection to support the development of teaching and learning programmes, explicit teaching and rich learning experiences. It is desired that suitable applicants will have professional knowledge of special education and will be able to modify curriculum and make adjustments to meet students' individual needs which may include students with Autism Spectrum Disorder or complex behaviours. A knowledge of trauma informed practice within a positive education approach would also be desirable. Dianella Secondary College ESC is a diverse multicultural secondary school that caters for students with disabilities from Year 7 to Year 13.
