This advert has expired Independent Public School - North Metropolitan Education Region Dianella Secondary College Education Support Centre Teacher - Education Support Pool Ref IPS/TCH882006 Teacher, $78,397 - $113,568 per annum (SEA GA 2021) Advertised Vacancy Number: IPS/TCH882006 Appointment Pool Dianella Secondary College Education Support Centre (ESC) is seeking to establish a pool of Education Support Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2024 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2025. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2024 school year, up to the end of Term 1, 2025. Suitable applicants will ideally be able to work in a team and collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum and reflect on evidence to inform ongoing practice. This includes reflection to support the development of teaching and learning programmes, explicit teaching and rich learning experiences. It is desired that suitable applicants will have professional knowledge of special education and will be able to modify curriculum and make adjustments to meet students' individual needs which may include students with Autism Spectrum Disorder or complex behaviours. A knowledge of trauma informed practice within a positive education approach would also be desirable. Dianella Secondary College ESC is a diverse multicultural secondary school that caters for students with disabilities from Year 7 to Year 13. We are located on the same site as Dianella Secondary College and Dianella College Primary School. Together, we have developed a positive relationship focused on supporting students and families.
