We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Driver Trainer / Assessor for our Victorian division to join our senior leadership team. The Exciting Opportunity Reporting to the State Manager, the Driver Trainer / Assessor is responsible for training and assessing new and existing employees in core programs (OH&S, Quality and Road Law Compliance and Customer Service) with the Victorian Operations Divisions. Your Responsibilities Assessing new applicants driving skills and competency Conducting training sessions related to operational needs Assessing existing workforce skill and comprehension in general SOP, policy and procedure. Delivering training programs and assessment according to set schedules. Conducting on the job driving assessments for existing employees. To be successful in the role you will have exceptional skills in: Transport industry knowledge, including general freight, load restraint, DG regulations and OH&S requirements. Hold a current Drivers Licence & Dangerous Goods Licence Experience in Chain of Responsibility, DG transportation, Fuels Liquids or Gases. Certificate IV in training and assessment desirable Experience in conducting on-road and operational assessments. Ability to deliver and coach employees in correct operating procedures.
