Casual Chefs | Suncorp Stadium Location: Milton, Queensland Venue: Suncorp Stadium Engagement: Casual About the Opportunity We are seeking dependable, enthusiastic, and dedicated casual Chefs to enrich the food preparation experience at Suncorp Stadium. As a valued member of the Suncorp Stadium Kitchen Team, you will be involved in various kitchen tasks, spanning from food preparation to serving at upscale events. This position involves overseeing operations at a newly created brisket outlet, crafting vegan desserts, and providing gluten-free choices for customers at Suncorp Stadium. About You To be successful you must have: At least 2 years of experience in commercial venues or event catering (post apprenticeship). Trade qualifications. A hands-on approach to managing daily operations in busy kitchen settings. Leadership skills to oversee a team of 6-8 Food & Beverage Attendants. Knowledge of HACCP Food Safety standards. Ability to adhere to serving portions. Preferably experience with slow-cooked meats. Capability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Collaborate with Area Managers as necessary. Proficiency in computer and administrative tasks, with knowledge of Excel and the Microsoft Suite preferred. Immediate availability. What can we offer you? Guaranteed minimum of 25-30 hours per week.
