Manildra Packing needs a Packing Operator Manildra Packing is looking for a Packing Operator who will be responsible for the safe and efficient packing and warehouse processes. You will support your team by maintaining a safe and proactive working environment and produce quality products that meets Manildra Packing quality standards and specifications. It's a full time employment as per those set out in, the in-effect MSM Milling Employee Collective Workplace Agreement. This role supports the vision of MSM Milling by; Continuous improvement and innovation in all aspects of our operations, Pursuing ethical and sustainable practices in all aspects of our business. Encouraging staff to excel professionally and personally. Delivering superior customer service Main tasks will include: Learn how to run and understand the process of packing oil into steel drums , BIB and PET formats under supervision. Accurately record all running parameters on daily production schedules. Load and unload vehicles according to standard operating procedures. Liaise with Supervisor to ensure all standard requirements are met. Communicate routinely and effectively with other operators and Supervisors about operating conditions. Maintain equipment in satisfactory condition and report any faults immediately to Supervisor and/or maintenance. Conduct daily cleaning regime to satisfaction of Supervisor. Fill packaging with oil as directed. Work with other operators to develop and maintain positive team morale and motivate associates to meet production and quality targets. Participate in maintenance and repair of equipment as needed. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all production and associated eating areas. Assist Team Leader, other operators, and management with additional duties as required. Learn how to service all components of equipment in all areas of the plant as directed Understand the principal requirements and mechanisms of the oil packaging plant Wear PPE as directed and as necessary. Continual cleaning of the site & buildings To follow safety, you must Comply with and set the standard for WH&S rules, regulations, and procedures Ensure compliance with all relevant accreditations for the Crushing and Refinery operation in conjunction with Technical / QA Manager.
