Why your Role Matters As Manager for the Casual Admin Team, you will lead the function that provides the efficient delivery of the casual engagement process across UNSW. Heading a collaborative team of Administrators, your focus will be overseeing the day-to-day casual recruitment operations and supporting the engagement and workflow activities of your team. This is a dynamic role that supports the ongoing operation of both our academic and professional spaces. Developing an understanding of the complex UNSW structure, you will take a strategic view of our casual recruitment and engagement processes to support your team in tailoring effective recruitment services that work across both Faculties and Divisions. By analysing trends, troubleshooting and bringing a solution- orientated approach, you’ll work to continuously improve how we engage and hire casual employees. This role reports to the Head of Talent Management & Recruitment and has direct reports. Who you are: As a strong communicator, you will be confident in building working relationships to deliver high-level service to stakeholders within a large complex environment. Bringing demonstrated experience in managing a team, you hold the ability to independently lead a function in providing a high quality and responsive customer service in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. A firm understanding of HR systems, strong computer literacy and the ability to organise your time will be key to succeeding in this role.
