We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Gatton. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of electrical maintenance and troubleshooting tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and be committed to ensuring compliance with all electrical safety regulations. Responsibilities:- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems and equipment- Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions, breakdowns, or system failures- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing and diagnostic equipment- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as replacing faulty wiring, switches, outlets, and fixtures- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment- Collaborate with other maintenance technicians to address electrical issues that may affect overall operations- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities- Respond promptly to emergency situations and perform necessary repairs or replacements- Assist in the planning and execution of electrical projects or upgrades Requirements:- Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance techniques- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals- Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards- Ability to operate electrical testing and diagnostic equipment- Knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, and variable frequency drives (VFDs) is a plus- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Valid electrician's license and relevant certifications- Ability to undergo a pre employment medical , police check and security check includes drug and alcohol screening If you are a responsible and experienced Maintenance Electrician who is passionate about ensuring the efficient and safe operation of electrical systems, we would love to hear from you.
