Our team is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Lead Mechanical Designer to join our Perth team. About the role Prepare 3D layouts (using Smart Plant 3D) and detailed drawings. Deliver design drafting according to required project time frames and standards Coordinate and lead team members Be a key contributor to the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering designs and feasibility studies Review vendor drawings and design data. Manage and provide support to the project team to ensure compliance with all applicable legislation, standards, and procedures. About you Detailed knowledge of materials handling & mineral processing Ability to lead, mentor and develop a team of design professionals. Significant experience in 3D modelling in MicroStation/AutoCAD Prior experience working within an engineering consultancy. Sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards and regulations Proficient in the layout of process plant equipment. Ability to review and provide constructive feedback on vendor drawings and interdisciplinary design data. Solid understanding of statutory and industry regulations and HSE practices. Advanced knowledge and practical application of design theories, principles and practices. Why Ausenco?
