Role Enjoying good support, this role itself is broad and will provide substantial responsibility and opportunity. You will work closely with the General Counsel (ex top-tier) in a small team and other key managers as you assist with the legal function and become involved in significant legal matters for the business, including general commercial, corporate/mergers & acquisitions, energy, projects, company structuring, and procurement, property and intellectual property and trademarks, insurance, and privacy. Also work on significant contracts, risk mitigation, and compliance. A good drafter with negotiation skills is required. Skills/Experience To take on this position you will be at least 4 years PQE and up to about 8 PQE, and be a front-end commercial lawyer. Training in a well regarded firm or in-house will be important, and the ability to get on well with people from a range of backgrounds will assist in your success. You should be commercially-minded rather than just a black-letter lawyer.
