The Role Black Star Pastry is looking for a Driver to join our team transporting our beautiful cakes and other products from our St Kilda based production kitchen to our stores in Chadstone and the CBD. We are looking for someone available Mondays and Tuesday, with some flexibility to cover annual leave and who can do a 5.30am start. The role involves driving a small truck so only a regular licence is required. Your main responsibilities will include - Pick up and load vehicle promptly in accordance with company procedures. Deliver fragile goods with care and in a timely and professional manner. Ensure compliance with legal requirements of food hygiene regulations. Ensure all policies, procedures, standards and guidelines are carefully adhered to at all times About You Previous delivery driving experience. Previous experience driving a van or small truck Able to build effective and constructive relationships – a true team player Exceptional time management skills. Good judgement and confident to make informed decisions. Ability to adapt and be flexible to changing business demands. Passionate about prompt service and delivering a quality product. Positive ambassador of the BSP brand.
