They are currently seeking an experienced Warehousing & Logistics professional to join their team based in Scoresby. The Position This full-time role will work across the company supporting the day-to-day operations. Reporting to the Head of Compliance and accountability to the Training Operations Manager, you will be a based in Scoresby performing the following duties: Warehousing Assist in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and organising deliveries and maintaining a clean and organised workspace. Ensure appropriate processing and storage of all items in accordance with the company’s Quality Management System and legal requirements. Use of forklift to load/unload deliveries and movement of items within warehouse. Ensure warehouse enquiries at back door are answered and managed in a timely and appropriate manner ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately. Logistics Ensure all Training course resources are packed and sent in a timely manner in accordance with training schedule. Ensure any equipment required for a job or course is packed and sent in a timely manner in accordance with the requirements for the job or course. Ensure ‘packing’ schedules and lists are followed accurately. Plan and manage equipment movements with the appropriate Manager in logistics calendar. Coordinate the shipment of orders, preparing shipping labels, and liaising with transport providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. General assistance Use of hand and power tools (drills, circular saw, angle grinder, bandsaw) and similar equipment to support or help prepare work by other employees in the compliance and consulting teams. Assist other employees as requested with activities such as building items, moving items, setting up test areas, setting up classrooms etc. The Ideal Candidate The successful person will have 2 years’ experience in warehousing and logistics and meet the following key requirements. Forklift Licence (mandatory). Drivers licence (mandatory). Ability to use hand and power tools i.e. drills, circular saw and angle grinder (mandatory). Computer skills, with email and basic Microsoft programs and an aptitude for learning new programs (mandatory). Good mechanical aptitude (mandatory). A commitment to following best practice Health and Safety requirements. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Good communication, (verbal and written). Self-motivated with ability to set and prioritise tasks. Proactive team player. Ability to weld an advantage. Commitment to on-going training.
