Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) This client is a national 3PL business with a site in Western Australia and are in need of a people leader to maximise the performance of a good team We are looking for someone who has strong leadership qualities and that is confident to be client facing Key responsibilities of this role :- Lead the 3PL team to deliver against agreed budgets and performance outcomes. In collaboration with the State Manager of 3PL operations, develop and align the local operational plans with the national strategic goals. Develop and implement process improvement initiatives in-line with the national strategic plan to enable operation of market-leading facilities Deliver operational efficiencies that ensure sustainable profitability Lead a culture of safety, service quality and productivity Manage the team against their performance targets across safety, service, productivity, cost and people Effectively manage risks, benefits and priorities of 3PL facilities to deliver effective results Develop and execute communication strategies and plans that drive increased business capability and people engagement through awareness of service, performance and business imperatives Operate with resilience and sound judgment in dealing with business and corporate challenges Positively affect behaviours of others, motivating them to achieve personal satisfaction and high performance through a sense of purpose and spirit of cooperation. Experience required:- Extensive experience in management in Third Party Logistics industry at a senior level managing medium / large teams Proven ability to develop, communicate and implement strategies including short / medium / long-term execution plans, budget and service delivery models Track record of influencing business decisions with commercial insight Experience in driving an adaptive and responsive work culture.
