Civcon Civil & Project Management Pty Lt d Civcon Civil & Project Management is seeking an Contract Administrator to join our growing team. If you’re an experienced Contract Administrator / Quantity Surveyor who shares our commitment to strive for excellence, we want to hear from you The position is a full time permanent position and not Contract term. You will be joining a highly experienced project team in which you can expect to grow and develop a long term career. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Commercial Manager and will play critical part in supporting the project teams in the effective management of commercial outcomes. As a part of the team based on site, you will work independently, to provide efficient and effective management of commercial and contractual matters and active daily administration of the Head Contract and Subcontract Agreements. Responsibilities will include the following Preparation of Subcontract Agreement templates based on the Head Contract documentation Administration of subcontract packages, including management of variations, EOTs and daywork claims; Assist the Project Manager to review contractual obligations Drafting of notices of delay, extensions of time, subcontracts and or supplier agreements required for the project Provide support to the Project Manager to prepare and forward relevant notices within designated timeframes Update and maintain notices of delay and extensions of time registers Revise and retain contract registers highlighting payment conditions Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports Assisting with the project cost reporting and forecasting; About You Tertiary qualification in Quantity Survey, Commerce, Construction Management or similar is preferable Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role Essential to have experience in the construction industry Essential to have clear, precise and effective communication skills (both verbal and written) A strong understanding of project cost reporting Sound knowledge of commercial principles Right to work permanently work in Australia What We Offer Personalised training and career development Competitive remuneration package Safety focused culture Management Support Civcon is an Equal Opportunity Employer and we strongly support diversity in our workforce.
