Contract Administrator - $25 Million School Project (Southside Brisbane) Our client, is a leading Indigenous-owned commercial construction company. We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Contract Administrator to join a team for an exciting new project on the south side of Brisbane. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the construction of a brand new $25 million school, contributing to a positive impact on the local community.About the Role: As a Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective administration of contracts throughout the entire construction process. Your duties will include: Preparing and issuing subcontracts, purchase orders, and variations. Managing variations and claims, ensuring proper documentation and approvals. Processing invoices and payments in accordance with contractual terms. Maintaining accurate and detailed project records, including contract documents, correspondence, and reports. Monitoring project progress and identifying potential contractual issues. Providing support to the Project Manager and other members of the construction team. About You: Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong understanding of construction contracts and related legislation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Proven ability to prioritize workload, manage deadlines, and work effectively under pressure. Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records. Experience with construction software (e.g. jobpac) is a strong asset. A passion for working on projects that contribute positively to the community is desirable.
