Based in our Perth workshop, you'll focus on refurbishing mobile equipment and crafting innovative attachments. What We Offer: • Stable, long-term employment prospects • Competitive salary package • Continuous professional growth through training and advancement opportunities • Witness your designs come to life in our fabrication workshop • Engage in diverse projects for various mining companies across different commodities Essential Qualifications: • Valid Driver's License • Formal qualification in Design and Drafting and/or Engineering Essential Skills, Experience, and Knowledge: • Proficient in designing earthmoving equipment, including loader & excavator buckets, and truck bodies in alignment with OEM specifications • Solid experience with Solidworks • Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration and client interactions • Competent in all design phases from concept to 3D modeling, preparing GA models, generating design drawings, and reviewing assembly & parts drawings • Proficient in developing drawings adhering to Australian standards AS1100 • Ability to measure existing equipment using various tools like 3D scanner, tape measure, vernier calipers, etc. • Familiarity with working with 3D point clouds and commonly used materials & manufacturing processes • Knowledgeable in tolerances and preferred limits and fits according to ISO 286 • Strong team player with a dedication to Health, Safety, and Quality standards. Must successfully pass a comprehensive medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
