The key duties of the position include The Role The APS 6 Administration Officer will provide administrative support and assistance to facilitate Defence's most senior committees. This will include mentoring junior staff, overseeing administrative tasks, inbox management, stakeholder liaison and the facilitation of a number of high-level meetings. You will be exposed to a wide range of business activities relating to senior decision-making forums and gain a strong understanding of governance within Defence. The team operates at a high tempo to assist committee Chairs and the successful candidate will provide support in managing respective forward work programs, agendas, paper distribution, developing outcomes and tracking committee actions.
