Your role As a Warehouse Storeperson in the Air Force, you'll be responsible for the procurement, warehousing, stock control and dispatch of equipment and supplies. You'll use your multi-tasking and logistics management skills to ensure materials, purchases, and databases are managed so that exercises, humanitarian work, and operations run smoothly. Your duties may include: Managing supply computer databases and statutory accounts. Processing base demands for general stores and aircraft spares. Purchasing – including electronic purchasing, raising of purchase orders, processing of claims, and maintenance of funds control ledgers. Operating forklifts in the loading and unloading of stores. Storing, issuing, packaging, dispatching, and transporting materiel. Receiving, issuing, and ordering equipment. Performing inventory control, data validation and correction, and stocktaking. Administering supply including correspondence and voucher processing.
