The key duties of the position include The Role The role will provide administrative support and assistance to Defence's Enterprise Committees. This includes development of agendas, distributing papers, building packs, inbox management and support of high-level meetings. You will liaise with stakeholders and respond under limited direction. You will take initiative to progress work to meet business objectives while working as part of a close-knit team. You will have the unique opportunity to interface with Defence's senior leaders and provide support to tier one and tier two Enterprise Committees. The team supports the following Enterprise Committees, chaired by Defence senior leaders: Defence Committee, Investment Committee, Chiefs of Service Committee, Strategic Policy Committee and Enterprise Business Committee. About our Team The Enterprise Committees Directorate is comprised of a team of motivated and proactive individuals who support the operation of Defence's Tier One and Tier Two Enterprise Committees. Experience and well developed skills working with the Microsoft Office suite. High ethical standards, confidentiality and discretion while accessing sensitive material. Being organised and proactive with a can do attitude. Having good organisational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in administration and customer service is desirable.
