Wesley College Melbourne, a school of the Uniting Church, established in 1866, is one of Australia's leading and most respected co-educational independent schools. With an enrolment of 3,400 students from ECLC to Year 12, it comprises three metropolitan campuses in Melbourne, at St Kilda Road, Glen Waverley and Elsternwick, outdoor education sites at Chum Creek, Mallana and Lochend, and a Year 9 residential campus at Clunes. The Wesley College at Clunes residential program provides our Year 9 students with the opportunity to learn about themselves, the wider community and our Australian culture in the unique setting of the small Victorian town of Clunes, 35 kilometres northwest of Ballarat. The focus for the 8-week program is upon education of the whole person. Emphasis is given to experiential, social and emotional learning, independent inquiry, community engagement and shared living. Applications are invited from passionate Teachers for casual relief work at our Clunes campus. We are seeking applications from individuals who are innovative, inquiring and enthusiastic. Casual relief Teachers are generally engaged at short notice, usually for a half or full day.
