A renowned, multi-disciplinary practice is seeking a talented Senior Urban Designer to join their award-winning Sydney based office within an established national team who are leaders in shaping the built environment.You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects across the public and private sector withina vibrant and collaborative team environment which mentors individual design interests and growth. You will be a skilledall-rounder with design capability to run projects from start to finish and a passion for delivering sustainable and memorable solutions across multiple scales. Key responsibilities Work across a range of significant public realm and urban design projects Takeownership of strategic design projects, including structure plans and urban design frameworks Assist with design, project management and client support in both public and private sectors Contribute to the development of tender bids and EOI opportunities Mentor and provide support/guidance to student designers Skills and experience Recognised tertiary qualifications in a relevant landscape design or planning discipline industryexperience Thorough knowledge ofmaster-planning and feasibility studies with working knowledge of public domain plans and urban design frameworks Excellent demonstrated industry knowledge including a thorough understandingof Australian planning codes and processes. Expertise in MicroStation, Rhino and Adobe Suite advantageous but not essential.
