Technical Design and UX — Braddon, North Canberra

Technical Design and UX role Platform Technical Design and UX A technical design blueprint, containing: • The technical design for the NEAC and proposed MVP options • Technical componentar options comparisons for the components • A roadmap for implementation of both the NEAC and MVP • A visualisation of key NEAC points of value, through three, non-functional demonstration artefacts, that show the user experience that the technical design is supporting. The artefacts are intended to bring the technical design to life and are intended to show three, short, compelling parts of a much broader user experience, for use in stakeholder demonstrations only (i.e. standalone and non-functional). Services are required to lead the technical design process for the National Energy Analysis Centre (NEAC). The NEAC will be a new piece of public national data infrastructure, hosted by CSIRO, that assists with planning, research, analysis and modelling required for Australia’s energy transition. • Facilitate and lead the technical design process. Much of the design process will be an exploration of the readiness and possibility of use of existing components (and capability vendors) to integrate with each other to create the NEAC, rather than creation of components from scratch, and so facilitation of CSIRO stakeholders and other vendors is necessary, driven by a structured design process. Specialist technical expertise and partnership is needed to specify how these could integrate into an overall design and the trade-offs for a range of options. • Produce a blueprint containing the technical design. This is required to both secure further funding and commence build, starting with an MVP. • Produce 3x non-functional UX demonstration artefacts. The artefacts will visualise key parts of the technical design and show the NEAC’s value proposition. Selection Criteria To apply, candidates need to respond to the following criteria (essential and desirable) with up to 500 words for each question:
