And this is your opportunity to take charge of all things sales as their first Sales Consultant, focusing on the Real Estate sector We'll come back to IdeaLayer in a moment In the meanwhile, though, who are you? Well, ideally, you have 3 years experience selling interactive display equipment or maybe creative/branding/digital services, to the Real Estate sector, especially land sales or apartment sales. Alternatively, you may have sold PropTech solutions to the sector. And you are ready to "own" sales. Importantly though, people are likely to describe you as: A quick learner and commercially savvy; Good at juggling multiple priorities at the same time; Very goal-driven and energetic; Self-confident but not overbearing; Someone who enjoys meeting with technology users and influencers; A creative and adaptable thinker; Comfortable in taking charge of sales situations when needed; Good under pressure; Resilient; Pro-active and keen to take the initiative; Good at reading both people - and the facts; and Methodologically able to approach the sales process in a well organised way The gig In very simple terms, you'll be selling Real Estate sales technology (touch screen software) for land and apartment marketing. This will entail a combination of expanding site usage by existing clients, as well as securing new clients and brands. You'll be pitching to Heads of Marketing (CMO's) within property development brands around the country. Your KPI's will be based around the take-up of IdeaLayer software subscriptions (ARR). Why would you? IdeaLayer is a well-backed startup moving into scale-up mode, and this represents an opportunity for you to truly "own" sales and not just be one of the herd. You'll report directly to the CEO who will give you the respect you deserve as a seasoned sales professional. You'll be joining the core team at a critical phase where you'll help shape the direction of the business, product and team culture. You'll be working from their office in Barangaroo, generally for 3-days of your week. The team is lean but growing, which provides a flexible work environment with some of the best views in Sydney The technology and product are innovative and exciting to see used by major clients. Remuneration is $100K base plus super plus KPI-based incentives.
