About the role: We are looking for a motivated and skilled Warehouse Manager to lead our clients warehouse operations in Townsville. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, overseeing logistics, and ensuring the smooth functioning of day-to-day warehouse activities. This role requires strong leadership abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching products. Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize stockouts. Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes to maximize productivity and minimize costs. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve operational goals. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to coordinate warehouse activities. Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed. Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance to senior management. What you'll need: Previous experience in warehouse management. Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
