Well respected fitout, refurb and new build business Onsite parking, great office location Hybrid - office/site CA role in the South Sydney region Well respected fitout, refurb and new build business Onsite parking, great office location Hybrid - office/site CA role in the South Sydney region About the Company: Intro Recruitment has been engaged to recruit a CA who will join an existing team to deliver a newly won commercial and retail redevelopment project in the South Sydney region valued at $10M. This construction company deliver a wide range of projects and has developed into a well-recognised and respected construction, refurbishment, hospitality and fitout business. As far as the projects are concerned, they tend to stick between $1m - $30m however are capable of larger projects, particularly as they add more new builds to their business to complement their current fitout and new build portfolio. About the role: Due to the size and nature of the project, the preference is to have this as a site-based position to provide best practice support to the project team. You will have experience delivering similar commercial projects as a Contracts Administrator and you will have the ability to write your own scopes, RFI's and ITP's (ideally). Your ability to build relationships and deal with key stakeholders in a diplomatic fashion will be key to the success of the delivery. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for: Establishment and training of the subcontractor payment claim process for new subcontractors. Assist and coordinate subcontractor onboarding and vendor set up including maintenance of registers. Ensuring subcontractor insurances are up to date. Risk identification and mitigation. Contract administration and management. Tendering and vendor management. Claims and variation management. Management and resolution of disputes. Continuously develop relationships and practical site experience with the project team. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: Qualification within construction management, business administration, or similar. Sound knowledge and experience within commercial construction. Proven experience working in a contract administration capacity reporting to a PM / CM. Ability to provide specialist end to end contract administration (and support) to a projects team. Assist and provide guidance on project related procurement activities. Manage and oversee the preparation of subcontractor packages, RFP's/RFQ's, scope of works and contracts correlating to the project. Successfully manage all variations and contract claims. Management and updating of project related registers. Provide support and guidance to the Projects team to ensure contracts are effectively managed. Working to compliance and risk management standard. Good communication skills and ability to work in a large team environment. Advanced Excel, Word, admin programs will be highly beneficial.
