Our client operates a busy timber yard located in Kilsyth, VIC and they are looking for new employees to join their growing business. General warehouse and stock duties Monday - Friday 2pm - 10.22pm $32.63 per hour Casual ongoing work 38 hours per week Key responsibilities: To follow and maintain all OH&S policies and procedures Report all incidents & near misses immediately Report all injuries immediately no matter how minor Report any damage to equipment or property immediately Unload all incoming goods, all goods to be checked and verified before signing Any variance to be reported before the truck leaves Put all stock away in assigned area Load trucks with completed orders; ensure loads are checked by clerk or manager prior to leaving the yard Organise packs into loads via delivery dockets and have ready for loading when truck arrives Advise any short packs or discrepancies in a timely manner Always observe traffic management implementations, unloading/loading exclusion zones pedestrian walkways, and infrastructure whilst operating/driving forklift Assist with stock movement including cutting of stock, re stocking as required Housekeeping duties Participate in ongoing training Other duties Requested as instructed by supervisor/management Competencies (knowledge, skills, and behaviours): Ensure SOP on all vehicles (pre-start check list) All incident/damage to be reported immediately Current high risk forklift licence Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Must be physically fit with the ability to undertake manual handling activities Ability to follow operating procedures Ability to follow directions by Supervisors and Management Time management skills Basic abilities to read and write If you are interested in the position please APPLY NOWwww.labourhireandrecruitment.com.auwww.lhr.net.auAdditional information LF FORKLIFT GROWING COMPANY FULL TIME CASUAL ONGOING WORK
